    Description

This is my personal boat. She's a 1997 Aquasport 225 Explorer Walkaround Cuddy. Boat is 24 feet long, weighs approx. 4100 pounds dry and rated up to 300 hp. She has a ton of deck space for the size. It is made for fishing. The cabin sits pretty far forward opening up a ton of space on the back. I have done a lot of upgrades this year. Brand New Dolphin T-Top with Rocket Launchers, Brand New paint 2 months ago in Total Boat Wet Edge Classic Whaler Blue, Hull was faired and primed with Total Boat fairing and 2 part epoxy primer before painting 3 coats with HVLP sprayer. I have about a half gallon of the paint left that goes with the boat for touch ups down the road. Motor is a 2000 Johnson Ocean Pro 225 was completely stripped, primed with ZincChromate primer and repainted in Phantom Black with all new decals then clear coated. Has a brand new 12 inch Lowrance Hook2 with triple shot transducer and cover. Brand new Cobra GPS vhf radio and antenna. Pyle wake board speakers installed but I have not installed a radio yet (just hadn't found one I liked). Has an approximate 30-40 gallon recirculating raw water bait tank. Raw water wash down. Huge insulated fish box in the floor that keeps ice all day in 90 + degree temps. 2 built in coolers behind helm seats. A lot of storage throughout. Motor is a 2000 Johnson 225 hp 2 cycle VRO but I had the VRO disconnected and just manually mix into the tank. Carries 102 gallons so its an easy 50 gallons gas to 1 gallon oil ratio. The VRO and hull oil reservoir are all present and could be hooked back up if you like as there was nothing wrong with it, I just trust manual mixing better on older 2 strokes. Motor starts every time and runs like a top. I just put a brand new complete impeller kit on, new lower unit seals and exhaust gaskets. Brand new tilt and trim relays. The 2 marine batteries are less than a year old. Currently has over half a tan of non-ethanol fuel in it that was just put in 2 weeks ago on last time out. Has hydraulic steering that works great, no leaks. Trailer is a 2006 Wesco with brand new bearings and hubs this year and brand new keel roller and bow stop. Trailer will need new axles, cross beams and bunk rail brackets at some point in the next year or two. Trailer is fine, I routinely pull it back and forth from the coast to Raleigh without issue. Trailer brakes are the old drum style and do not work of course. The only reason for sale is we have decided to downsize to a bay boat so I am open to trades for something like a Carolina Skiff DLV or similar. I am located in the Raleigh, NC area but I store the boat in Hampstead, NC at a boat yard. Can be seen upon request by contacting me and setting up a time, or I can give you the boat yard info and you can contact them to have the boat looked over. There is nothing wrong with the boat, she is turn key fishing vessel but sold as is, where is. Any survey or mechanic check is the responsibility of the potential buyer. Please ask questions before bidding. 0 nonrefundable deposit due immediately upon sale via Paypal balance and pick up time is flexible. Completion of the transaction must be done either with cash or certified check at my bank to verify funds. No I will not ship the boat and you cannot send a shipping company to pick it up and hand me a bogus check. This is an in-person sale only as I want you to be completely informed and happy with the purchase. Title to both boat and trailer are in hand. Please feel free to message me with reasonable offers.
