Vintage! Antique? Washington Sterling Silver Collectors Spoon

Washington Sterling silver spoon, with Christ Church Alexandria, Va. in bowl of spoon. On the back are some symbols, and the word sterling. The pictures on the back are Mt. Vernon, Christ Church and Washington Tomb. I am not sure who the maker is but I am sure on of the symbols will tell who made it! I really want to clean it but everyone says don't touch it!  I don't want to hurt such a wonderful find. The spoon is 5 3/8 Long, and weights 14 grams but my scale could be a slightly off.
